Italian Tradition

Up until the mid-1900s, Italy was ruled by a king and divided among many dukes. The powerful dukes owned many acres of land, which was tended by farmers. During each harvest, the farmers would carefully pick the best of crops to be set aside “per il re”, or, “for the king”. Hence developed the brand Del Re, which works in close association with farmers and manufacturers throughout Italy, selecting the finest, most fertile land and constantly monitoring the harvests to keep its standards consistent with its image. Del Re is honored to uphold Italian Tradition, but instead of the highest quality being available to only a few individuals, we strive to enable everyone to be able to enjoy a king’s meal.
